Cassandra Frew (nee Souter) was born on a July winter’s night in Hornsby NSW. At the age of three, the family moved to a dairy farm outside Lismore NSW where she spent the majority of her childhood. At ten years old, the family moved to
Lake Macquarie NSW.
Cassie found her love of romance writing during her high school years, and her first several ‘novels’ were hand-written exercise books, passed around for her friends to read.
Her most rewarding achievement to date is what she has in common with the residents of the Standish household – their love of music, playing an instrument and 80s music.
What a decade!
These stories belong to her readers, and to Ashlyn and the Standish family.
Her career in business and administration has led her into further self-education including web design, IT, professional proofreading and editing, creative writing and industrial psychology. She is also a Justice of the Peace and a Civil Celebrant.
The Sommersett series is a coming of age story of a shy teenage girl, spanning 15 years of her life.
This is how love should be, can be, is.
